Queen Anne

Just north of the iconic Space Needle and Seattle Center (built specifically for the 1962 World’s Fair and home to the MoPOP and Chihuly Garden and Glass museums), you’ll find a gem of a neighborhood on the top of the hill. Queen Anne stretches from the southern, lower point with bars and a vibrant nightlife to the upper peak with a main avenue that shines with local shopping, restaurants, and an inclusive community. The eats are superb: Seattle’s landmark fine-dining locale Canlis Restaurant consistently wins James Beard awards and is a prime spot for special occasions. This distinct neighborhood has something for everyone, including various play parks, a network of walking routes for exercise that are sandwiched in by sweeping views of Elliott Bay to the east and Lake Union to the west, and a weekly farmer’s market. Take in the iconic Kerry Park view of downtown Seattle. You can even cheer on the Seattle Storm (WNBA) or Seattle Kraken (NHL) as the new Climate Pledge Arena opens. The opportunities in Queen Anne are full of excitement.
